Do I need to speak any English to start? +
No. Complete beginners are very welcome. The first session is a needs analysis - we assess where you are and build everything from there. If you're at zero, we start at zero.
What's the difference between American English and regular English? +
Most teaching in Morocco follows a British or neutral academic model. American English has different vocabulary (apartment not flat, trash not rubbish), very different pronunciation - the American R, the flap T, connected speech like "gonna" and "wanna" - and a more direct, informal, expressive cultural style. If you want to understand American movies, podcasts, or talk to Americans naturally, you need to learn their version.
Where do sessions take place? +
In-person sessions are in Marrakech - exact location confirmed on booking. Online sessions are via Google Meet or Zoom, available to anyone in Morocco or internationally.
How do I pay? +
Cash at the session, or bank transfer/deposit via CIH, Attijariwafa, CashPlus, or Wafacash. Payment details are shared when you book. For packages, payment can be split across the first two sessions.
How quickly will I see results? +
Most students notice a real difference within 3–5 sessions. 1-on-1 lessons are dramatically more efficient than group classes - every minute is spent on exactly what you need. For exam prep, students doing 2 sessions per week typically see score improvement within 4–6 weeks.
Can I cancel or reschedule? +
Yes - with 24 hours notice, rescheduling is always free. Cancellations under 24 hours may be charged at 50% of the session rate. Life happens - just communicate early and we'll make it work.
What are your qualifications? +
CELTA (Cambridge Certificate), DELTA (Cambridge Diploma), TEFL, TESOL, and TOEFL certified. Native-level American English speaker, Moroccan-born, raised in the US, currently based in Marrakech. Experience teaching all levels from absolute beginners to exam and corporate preparation.
